Palmerston-Little Italy is the neighbourhood that gave Toronto its taste for properly pulled espresso and al fresco dining long before either was trendy. College Street between Bathurst and Ossington remains the beating heart of the area, lined with trattorias, gelaterias, cafes, and bars that spill onto the sidewalk as soon as the weather permits.
